I love juicing – I especially love juicing fresh, local, organic produce. I woke up this morning and didn’t have a tray of wheatgrass to juice, so I made a quick veggie juice instead that turned out amazingly delicious. The health benefits of cabbage are off the charts, classifying it in my books as a potent superfood that should be incorporated into any diet. My body just sings for juice and I’m so grateful for the vital life-force that it gives me.
Raw Beet Cabbage Orange Juice Recipe
Kitchen Essentials
For juicing, you will need a juicer. I use an Omega juicer and recommend it after using mine for about 5 years now. A juicer is one of the top 4 raw food kitchen tools that I recommend you stock your raw food kitchen with.
Raw Ingredients
For this juicer combo I used:
- 1 head of cabbage
- 2 small beets (or 1 medium beet)
- 1 large orange (peeled)
- 2 inch knob of ginger
Wash all ingredients and chop them up small enough to fit through your juicer.
Simple combination and super tasty. I usually make my juices with kale or collards, so this morning I decided to go for something a little lighter and sweeter. Cabbage can be used as a base for any juice as it’s mild flavor goes well with pretty much everything.
If your new to juicing, this is a great juice to start with and gradually incorporate more dark leafy greens as well.
It’s my heartfelt wish that you feel healthy and have lots of vital energy!
Have a wonderful day, enjoy your fresh juices and keep shinning bright…
