Gratitude is such an instant mood booster and is now being shown to influence our health. Gratitude has been shown to actually boost our immune systems – isn’t that incredible! Makes sense that it would work like that, doesn’t it? When we practice gratitude we feel good and every single cell in our body rejoices in that good feeling, resulting in a stronger, more cohesive system.
What are you grateful for today? A great practice is to think of something your grateful for first thing in the morning, before you even get out of bed to set you on the right positive track for the day. The key here is to be sincere, so pick something that you truly feel. It can be anything!
Today, I choose to be grateful for my feet, and all my little toes. I’m so grateful for my feet, they carry me where ever I want to g; what a miracle and a blessing!
Be grateful for all the little things that you tend to take for granted. It’s easy to miss how grateful we are for something until it’s gone! It’s also great fun to keep a gratitude journal, and allows us to keep looking back at ALL the amazing and wonderful things, people, places, pets, circumstances that we have to be grateful for. You’re body will truly thank you for it!
