I’m always amazed at how smoothies have changed my life. They’ve become such an integral part of my daily lifestyle that I often joke with people that my two most important keys to happiness are daily walks and smoothies! The smoothie combinations are endless, which make them a great way to keep things feeling fresh and not getting into the same rut of always eating the same thing over and over again. This mango smoothie is one of my favorites and feels really healing in my body. I like to make it on a rainy or colder day here in Hawaii (yes that does happen here!) because it can be warming to my body, especially with the fresh ginger root in it. You can mix and match any fresh, raw ingredients that call to you! Have fun exploring what feels good to you in your body.

Turmeric: Turmeric, also known as Olena here in Hawaii is another all-time favorite medicinal plant that I love to consume quite regularly.
